This page lists every cookie and browser-storage key WeatherPerch or a service it embeds actually sets — a real, current inventory, not a generic template. See our Privacy Policy for how we use this data, and Privacy Choices to change your consent.
What counts as a cookie here
We also list localStorage and sessionStorage keys alongside real HTTP cookies, since browsers and regulators increasingly treat any persistent client-side storage the same way for consent purposes. "Necessary" items are required for the site to function as requested and do not need consent under ePrivacy/GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)/ Recital 30-style "strictly necessary" exemptions; everything else is blocked until you say yes.
How blocking actually works
Google Analytics is loaded via Google's Consent Mode v2, which defaults every visitor to "denied" — the GA4 script itself does not load or set any cookie until you click "Allow analytics" (or use Manage Preferences). Our own first-party analytics script checks the same stored consent choice before it queues or sends any event; if you never consent, or later withdraw consent, it sends nothing.
Managing your choice
Use the on-page privacy preferences control (bottom corner of most pages) or visit /privacy-choices at any time to accept, reject, or change your analytics choice. Rejecting analytics does not affect any core weather feature.
