1. Acceptance of Terms
By using WeatherPerch, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
2. Use License
Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This permission does not transfer ownership or other rights in WeatherPerch, its name, or any third-party materials. Third-party data, imagery, software, and services remain subject to their own licences and terms.
3. Disclaimer
Weather forecasts, activity assessments, rankings, reports, and derived intelligence are provided "as is" and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. They are for general information and planning only, not medical, emergency, aviation, maritime, agricultural, financial, or professional advice. Consult official services and qualified professionals for critical decisions. See our Weather & Safety Disclaimer for hazard-specific guidance.
4. Official Warnings & Emergencies
WeatherPerch is not an official weather warning system and does not replace alerts issued by your national or local meteorological, civil protection, or emergency authority. Where WeatherPerch content (including activity scores, recommendations, or reports) conflicts with an official warning, watch, or advisory, the official warning always controls. In an emergency, follow the guidance of local authorities and official channels, not this website.
5. Limitations of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, WeatherPerch is not liable for losses or damages arising from reliance on this website, forecasts, alerts, activity scores, reports, third-party links, or derived data. Weather conditions and provider data can change without notice.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract data from WeatherPerch outside of normal, rate-limited browsing or the documented API; attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or access controls; interfere with or disrupt the service or its underlying infrastructure; or use the service for any unlawful purpose. If you violate this section, WeatherPerch may, at its discretion, restrict, rate-limit, or block your access — including revoking API or account access — without prior notice, proportionate to the violation. WeatherPerch does not seek liquidated damages for ordinary misuse; if your conduct causes WeatherPerch direct, demonstrable costs (for example, abnormal infrastructure load from bulk scraping), WeatherPerch reserves the right to seek recovery of those costs.
7. Availability & Changes to the Service
WeatherPerch is provided on an "as available" basis. Features, data sources, pages, and pricing may change, be suspended, or be discontinued at any time, with or without notice. Scheduled or unscheduled downtime may occur, including due to upstream provider outages outside WeatherPerch's control.
8. Modifications to These Terms
WeatherPerch reserves the right to revise these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision; continued use of WeatherPerch after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms. Material changes (for example, introducing paid pricing or advertising) will also be reflected on the relevant page (Pricing, Privacy Policy, or Cookie Policy) at the time they take effect.
9. Termination
WeatherPerch may suspend or terminate your access to accounts or features (including saved locations, notifications, or billing) for violation of these terms or the Acceptable Use section above. Where practical, WeatherPerch will give notice of the reason before or at the time of suspension; for severe or ongoing abuse (for example, active scraping or a security threat), WeatherPerch may act immediately without prior notice. If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may appeal by contacting us using the details on our Contact page — we will review and respond within a reasonable time. Where an account exists, data handling on termination follows the Privacy Policy's deletion process.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Subject to applicable law, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of WeatherPerch shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or limit any rights, remedies, or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or limited under the laws applicable to you.
11. Third-Party Assets, Data & Attribution
WeatherPerch uses third-party weather, map, analytics, payment, authentication, and affiliate services. Their availability, terms, licenses, and data practices may apply separately. WeatherPerch does not claim affiliation with or endorsement by government weather agencies. Affiliate links, when active, will be labeled and disclosed on our Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure page; WeatherPerch may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
