Is there a flash flood warning near me?

A flash flood warning indicates an immediate or imminent threat from rapidly occurring flooding. Avoid driving through flooded roads and move to higher ground when instructed. Floodwater can conceal washed-out roads, debris and other hazards. Because flash flooding can develop quickly, pay attention to official warnings even if rain has not yet become heavy at your exact location.
