Is there a flood watch near me today?

A flood watch means conditions are favorable for flooding, but flooding is not necessarily occurring yet. It is a signal to prepare and monitor subsequent warnings. Review your local forecast, identify alternate travel routes and avoid low-lying areas if heavy rain is expected. If a Flood Warning or Flash Flood Warning follows, take the recommended protective action immediately.
