When and where did Hurricane Dolly make landfall?

Hurricane Dolly made landfall on South Padre Island, Texas, on July 23, 2008. The National Hurricane Center assessed it as a Category 2 hurricane with peak winds near 100 mph shortly before landfall. It caused wind damage, power outages, heavy rainfall, and flooding across parts of deep South Texas and northeastern Mexico.
