High-intent weather planning
← Back to full FAQWhere are thunderstorms happening in the U.S. right now?
Thunderstorms can develop and dissipate rapidly, so current radar and official warnings provide more useful information than a static daily forecast. If you are trying to determine whether storms are affecting a specific route or destination, check the location and movement of storms as well as active severe-weather warnings. Do not assume that a storm shown on a broad national map is directly affecting your location.
