Where in the U.S. will it be coolest this weekend?

Weekend temperatures can vary dramatically between northern states, mountain regions, coastal areas and the desert Southwest. Compare forecast highs and lows for specific destinations and consider wind chill where appropriate. Mountain locations may be substantially colder than nearby cities. If you are traveling specifically for cooler weather, check the actual destination forecast rather than relying on statewide averages.
