Will rain affect my road trip across California this weekend?

Rain can affect driving through reduced visibility, wet roads, hydroplaning risk, flooding and mountain-road hazards. Check forecasts along the entire route rather than only the departure and destination cities. If your route crosses mountain passes, check those locations separately because precipitation type and road conditions can differ significantly from nearby lowlands.
